Can you help make
a child’s Christmas?

Every Christmas, our charities deliver presents to young children who are living in poverty. For many of these children, this is the only present they will receive.

Other young families across the UK are forced to choose between adequately heating their homes and putting food on the table to survive the festive period.

We believe ALL children deserve a hot meal, a suitable place to sleep and a visit from Santa this Christmas.

Will you help us make a child’s Christmas by donating to families living in poverty?

How will your donation help?

There are currently 4.3 million children living in poverty in the UK, according to the Children’s Society. With the rising cost of living and recent cuts to Universal Credits, even more families will face cancelling Christmas this year.

No matter how big or small your donation, you can make a real difference to the lives of vulnerable and underprivileged families. Here are just some of the ways your generosity can support families in need:

£2 – Provides a nutritious hot meal for a child

£5 – Gifts a special present to a child who would have otherwise gone without this Christmas

£15 - Delivers a hamper of fresh produce and essential household items to a family living in poverty

£50 – Goes towards vital energy bills in emergencies to help keep families warm throughout winter

How does it work?

It’s as simple as one, two, three!

1) Choose a project that you would like to support by selecting one of the three listed charities below.

2) Click the ‘DONATE’ button under your chosen charity to be redirected to the project’s website.

3) Follow the steps on the charity’s website to make your donation. Your contribution will go towards vital work to help ensure no child goes without this Christmas.

St Vincent’s Family Project

The London-based charity has been supporting young and vulnerable families in Westminster since 1975. Over Christmas, the charity transforms into a Santa’s Grotto for a day where every child they support gets the opportunity to meet Saint Nicholas and take home their very own gift. Additionally, staff and volunteers distribute hampers of essential food and household items to families most in need.

Out There

Christmas can be an extremely difficult time for families impacted by imprisonment. You can help relieve some of their financial and emotional burdens by supporting Out There’s work. Staff will be working hard throughout December providing vital food hampers to families who are struggling to meet basic needs, distributing toys to children and lifting their Christmas spirits with a festive pantomime.

The Louise Project

Based in Glasgow, The Louise Project offers local families a holistic and nurturing pathway out of poverty. Last Christmas, the project provided toys and winter clothing to 230 children throughout December. Staff also delivered hampers to vulnerable families containing essential items such as groceries and toiletries. Can you help them reach even more families this year?
